That’s a wrap on SDCC 2012 for me! I think I’ve only missed one since we screened the Avatar pilot in 2004, and this had to be the craziest and best Con so far. A huge thanks to all the amazing people who waited hours upon hours for the panel and two signings (and a huge *SORRY* and *COSMIC HUG* to those who were turned away), and thanks for sharing your personal experiences on how our work has touched your lives. One particularly moving story had Mike and I tearing up yesterday at the Dark Horse signing. The Avatar/Korra fans are sincerely the warmest, friendliest group of people I’ve had the pleasure to meet over the last 10 years.
Thanks again to Kevin Coppa for the adorable Korra puppet, Marissa Lee for the equally adorable Appa knit hat, James Lucas Jones from Oni Press for the extra copy of the beautifully colored Scott Pilgrim 1 Evil Edition (he didn’t know my wife had purchased one for me the day before, so I’m giving this second copy to Mike), all the awesome pieces of fan art, all the amazing costumes (pictures coming soon), and just being great fans.
